EIPA hosted an important conference yesterday in Budapest, Hungary, on the theme “Israel and Central Europe in a Reinvigorated Europe.”
The sessions addressed key issues including: Israel’s strategic partnership with Central Europe; the Gaza war and its regional implications; international law related to the conflict in Gaza; the Arab–Israeli normalization momentum; the rise in antisemitism in Europe since October 7th and the reasons why the situation is much worse in Western Europe; disinformation, delegitimization and media narrative; debunking the genocide claim; and the changing dynamics of Israel–EU–Central Europe–EU relations.
