Europe Israel Press Association (“EIPA”) is a peer to-peer support-network for journalists, editors-in-chief, bloggers and opinion leaders interested in covering Israel and the greater Middle East.
Since 2012, EIPA’s aim has been to provide Europe-based journalists
with greater insight and knowledge concerning the complexities and the
challenges relating to Israel and the broader Middle East. EIPA provides
media professionals in Europe with news-facts, background information,
research, and analysis. It facilitates journalist-access to experts and
officials, organizes press-briefings in Europe as well as press-trips to Israel.
EIPA is donor-funded and based in Brussels. It has been successful at
establishing close working relationships with all aspects of Israeli society
– civil, institutional, and governmental.
EIPA is part of the Europe Jewish Association (EJA) which aims to curb
rising Anti-Semitism and Israel-delegitimization.
