On Wednesday, 10 December 2025, journalists, policymakers, diplomats, and experts gathered in Brussels for an EIPA press day addressing one of Europe’s most pressing challenges: Europe–Israel relations amid rising antisemitism and ongoing conflict.
Under the theme “Bridging Divides,” the discussions examined EU–Israel relations before and after October 7, the deep divisions among EU member states, media narratives, boycotts versus dialogue, the future of the Abraham Accords, and the growing impact of antisemitism and antizionism on European Jewish communities. High-level panels brought together MEPs, senior EU officials, diplomats, journalists, academics, and regional experts.
The event highlighted how fragmented European positions are shaping policy, public discourse, and the lived reality of Jewish communities—underscoring the urgent need for clarity, responsibility, and informed engagement.
