The Chief Rabbinate of Cyprus was established in 2005 with the election of Rabbi Arie Zeev Raskin as the Chief Rabbi of Cyprus.

The Chief Rabbinate’s goal is to help Jews living in Cyprus in all matters of Judaism by providing them with all their religious needs. The Chief Rabbinate also strengthens the spiritual infrastructure of the Jewish communities in the country.
